Multi Award Winning Cornish Landscape Photographer, Lawrie
My photographic journey began with a 35mm film camera, where I first learned to observe light and moment with intention. Since moving into digital, my work has evolved into a more focused and deliberate practice shaped by experience, environment, and restraint.
I am drawn to the rugged Cornish coastline—its exposed cliffs, shifting light, and relentless weather. I often work in difficult conditions, where wind, rain, and sea strip the landscape back to something raw and elemental. These moments, though fleeting, carry a quiet intensity.
My work is an exploration of atmosphere, scale, and solitude. I aim to create images that feel grounded in place—stripped back, immersive, and honest.
My photography has been published internationally and is currently exhibited on Fine Art America. I have also contributed to Cornish World Magazine and worked with various news and media outlets, both online and in print.
